水银温度计是膨胀式温度计的一种，水银的冰点是:-39℃,沸点是:356.7℃,用来测量0--150℃或500℃以内范围的温度，它只能作为就地监督的仪表。用它来测量温度，不仅比较简单直观，而且还可以避免外部远传温度计的误差。
Mercury thermometer is a kind of expansive thermometer.The freezing point of mercury is-39 C and the boiling point is 356.7 C.It is used to measure the temperature in the range of 0-150 C or 500 C.It can only be used as an instrument for in-situ monitoring.Using it to measure temperature is not only simple and intuitive,but also can avoid the error of external teletransmission thermometer.
以下是水银温度计的使用方法：首先要看清它的量程（测量范围），然后看清它的最小分度值，也就是每一小格所表示的值。要选择适当的温度计测量被测物体的温度。测量时温度计的液泡应与被测物体充分接触，且玻璃泡不能碰到被测物体的侧壁或底部；读数是，温度计不要离开被测物体，且眼睛的视线应与温度计内的液面相平。
The following is the use of mercury thermometer:first,we need to see its range(measurement range),and then we can see its minimum indexing value,that is,the value represented by each cell.Choose the appropriate thermometer to measure the temperature of the object under test.When measuring,the bubbles of the thermometer should be in full contact with the object under test,and the glass bubbles can not touch the side wall or bottom of the object under test;the reading is that the thermometer should not leave the object under test,and the eyes should be equal to the liquid level in the thermometer.
1、使用前应进行校验(可以采用标准液温多支比较法进行校验或采用精度更高级的温度计校验)。

2、不允许使用温度超过该种温度计的最大刻度值的测量值。

3、温度计有热惯性，应在温度计达到稳定状态后读数。读数时应在温度凸形弯月面的最高切线方向读取，目光直视。
3.Thermometers have thermal inertia and should be read after the thermometer reaches a stable state.When reading,it should read in the highest tangent direction of the temperature convex meniscus and look straight at it.
4、水银温度计应与被测工质流动方向相垂直或呈倾斜状。
