1、检查安装孔的尺寸：如果安装孔的尺寸不合适，传感器在安装过程中，其螺纹部分就很容易受到磨损。这不仅会影响设备的密封性能，而且使压力传感器不能充分发挥作用，甚至还可能产生安全隐患。只有合适的安装孔才能够避免螺纹的磨损（螺纹工业标准1/2-20 UNF 2B），通常可以采用安装孔测量仪对安装孔进行检测，以做出适当的调整。
1. 2. Keep the installation hole clean: it is very important to keep the installation hole clean and prevent the block of melt to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. All pressure sensors should be removed from the barrel to avoid damage before the extruder is cleaned. When the sensor is removed, the melt may flow into the mounting hole and harden. If the residual melt is not removed, the top of the sensor may be damaged when the sensor is reinstalled. The cleaning kit is able to remove the residual material. However, repeated cleaning processes may exacerbate damage to the sensor caused by mounting holes. If this happens, measures should be taken to raise the position of the sensor in the mounting hole.
Select the appropriate position: when the pressure sensor is installed too close to the upstream of the production line, the unmelted material may wear the top of the sensor. If the sensor is installed too far back, a stagnation zone of the molten material may be created between the sensor and the screw stroke, where the molten material may degrade and the pressure signal may be distorted. If the sensor is too deep into the barrel, the screw may touch the top of the sensor during rotation and cause damage. Generally speaking, the sensor can be located on the barrel in front of the filter screen, front and rear of the melt pump or in the mold
Careful cleaning; All sensors should be removed before cleaning the cylinder with a wire brush or special compound. Both cleaning methods may cause damage to the vibration membrane of the sensor. When the cylinder is heated, the sensor should also be removed and wiped at the top with a soft cloth that will not cause any wear and holes in the sensor should be cleaned with a clean drill and guide sleeve.
